On November 11, the 18th “China Optics Valley” Intellectual Property International Forum with the theme of “Human Health Community Construction and Intellectual Property Development” was grandly held at China Optics Valley Technology Exhibition Center. Fang Jie, Deputy Secretary-General of Wuhan Municipal People’s Government attended the event.

At the opening ceremony, Liu Hua, Director of the China Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) delivered a video speech on behalf of Mr. Daren Tang, Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, Wu Handong, former President of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, former Deputy Director of the European Patent Office, and the University of Leeds and University of London, University of Western Australia and other experts and scholars gave keynote speeches.
It is reported that the “Optics Valley of China” Intellectual Property International Forum has been held for 18 consecutive sessions. The forum organizes discussions on current hot issues of intellectual property rights every year. It provides a platform for exchanges between domestic and foreign experts, scholars, and corporate intellectual property workers, and play an important role in promoting to create an atmosphere that respect and protect intellectual property rights, optimize the business environment, and continuously improving the independent innovation capabilities of enterprises.
