On November 25, Galanz Group announced to the media that Guangdong Xinbao Electric Co., Ltd. and Zhongshan Dongling Weili Electric Co., Ltd., Zhongshan Meige Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. was sued by Guangdong Galanz Microwave Oven Appliance Manufacturing Co., Ltd. for allegedly illegally obtaining and using Galanz magnetron product trade secrets and has been accepted by the court. 

Galanz stated that Xinbao and its affiliates Dongling Weili, Mega Company and their legal representatives illegally obtained, disclosed, and used Galanz’s trade secrets, including product technology, production equipment, tooling and fixtures, and production processes. The defendants copied and illegally used a full set of the technologies developed by Galanz over the past 20 years. "Comprehensive joint infringement cases like this are very rare" the person in charge said. Based on preliminary estimates, the scale of infringements by Xinbao, Dongling Weili and related companies exceeded RMB 100 million.
