On November 27th, 2020 Chengdu Digital Copyright Trading Expo officially commenced in Chengdu Xibo City.
More than 300 cultural, creative, copyright, and online audio-visual companies including Alibaba, Tencent, NetEase, and Kuaishou brought interesting new products, new technologies, new models, and new services to the theme exhibition. Experts, scholars, and leaders in the field of digital copyright gathered to discuss the development and prosperity of the digital copyright industry. The two-day Digital Expo, with the theme of "New Copyright Ecology, New Digital Economy", focuses on China’s exploration and research on the development trend of digital copyright, and attracted a large number of resources, talents, projects, and enterprises from the upstream and downstream of the copyright industry gathered in Chengdu by holding an opening ceremony, a forum, two exhibitions, and three conferences, to jointly explore a new path for the innovation and integration of China's copyright industry.
Chengdu attaches great importance to the development of the copyright industry, and has systematically constructed a digital publishing, digital game, and digital music industry chain connecting the upstream and downstream, and the industrial cluster has begun to take shape. Up to now, with the core technology of blockchain, there are four digital copyright comprehensive trading platforms represented by "Zebra", more than 100 digital publishing, digital games, digital music content sales and distribution platforms, and more than 3,000 digital copyright-related companies. It provides strong support for Chengdu's economic and social development and the construction of a world-famous cultural city.
In order to extensively gather enterprises and institutions in various fields of the digital copyright industry chain to jointly build a new type of digital copyright interest community, at the opening ceremony, fifteen representatives of industry alliance member units jointly promoted the establishment of the alliance's launching pole and announced the official establishment of the China Digital Copyright Industry Alliance. Yesterday, the "Copyright Protection New Technology Research and Promotion Site" also held a licensing award. At the opening ceremony of the China Digital Copyright Industry Alliance, the China Digital Copyright Industry Alliance "Zebra Chain" entered the Sichuan Province blockchain infrastructure "Shuxin Chain" and held a signing ceremony. At the same time, Zaozhuang National Copyright Trade Base signed an on-site contract with China Digital Copyright Industry Alliance, Tianfu New District Management Committee and Chengdu Zhongban Guoxin Digital Copyright Technology Co., Ltd., which effectively facilitated the copyright industry cooperation between various units.
It is reported that during the Expo, digital copyright industry and development forums, digital copyright round-tables, digital copyright online classrooms and other activities will be held, bringing together industry leaders, experts and scholars to jointly discuss copyright in the Internet era when information technology is rapidly changing. The reform and development of protection and copyright management systems, the innovation and practical application of copyright trading models, the innovation and development of science and technology in the field of copyright, and the construction of digital copyright to help the development of the digital economy.
