The intellectual property value rankings released this time are based on the relevant data contained in the latest periodic reports publicly disclosed by companies listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange’s Growth Enterprise Market. The key value drivers of intellectual property are used as the starting point for analysis, and qualitative and quantitative methods are used cooperatively, constructed the value evaluation system, and the key factors are used to measure the comprehensive development capability of the enterprise. Among them, Origin Water, JOYVIO, Shengyuan Environmental Protection Ltd, Guozhen Environment Protection Technology, Mango Excellent Media Co., Ltd., Yuhetian, CEEP, Woshi, MOTECH, and eastmoney.com were among the Top Ten Intellectual Property Value Rankings.
The 883 China Growth Enterprise Market listed companies involved in this Intellectual Property Value Ranking List totaled 104.2 billion yuan, involved sixteen industries, mainly distributed in economically developed regions. Among the Top Ten enterprises in terms of intellectual property value, Beijing Bishuiyuan Technology Co., Ltd. ranked the first. It is reported that Bishuiyuan is a high-tech enterprise founded by returned overseas scholars in 2001 in the Zhongguancun National Independent Innovation Demonstration Zone. With innovation as its soul, Bishuiyuan is determined to become a thinker in China's environmental protection industry. With technology innovation, business model innovation, management and mechanism innovation as the three engines, it invests 10% of the parent company's net profit into technology research and development every year, and has strong research and development team which has obtained more than 600 patented technologies and won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award twice in 2009 and 2017.
In the Top 100 list, the companies on the list are mainly located in eight provinces and cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong. Among them, Beijing has the largest number of enterprises, reached thirty, followed by Guangdong and Shanghai with fourteen and thirteen respectively. The competitiveness of intellectual property rights is directly proportional to the strength of local economic development, but it is still mainly concentrated in cities with R&D and production as the economic orientation. There are eight Shenzhen companies on the list, including Mindray Medical, ShenZhen Yitoa Intelligent Control Co Ltd, BGI Group, Sunline, Yinzhijie, Fibocom, ysstech, and Glacier Network.
In addition, according to the list, the value of intellectual property rights of China Growth Enterprise Market companies is mainly concentrated in sixteen industries. Among them, water conservancy, environment and public facilities management industry ranked first with 40.795 billion yuan in intellectual property value, manufacturing (35.423 billion yuan), information transmission, software and information technology services (10.548 billion yuan), culture, sports and entertainment (7.416 billion yuan) followed closely behind.
