On December 21, the Forth National Robot Patent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals and Summit Forum co-organized by jointly sponsored by the Anhui Provincial Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office), Wuhu Municipal People’s Government and the National Intellectual Property Operation Public Service Platform, Huazhi Zhongchuang (Beijing) Investment Management Co., Ltd., Harbin Institute of Technology Wuhu Robot Industry  the Institute of Technology was successfully held in Wuhu City, Anhui Province.

This competition is fully upgraded on the basis of the previous one, based on the national robot and intelligent manufacturing product innovation, focusing on technological innovation and achievement transformation, and attracting high-level robotic innovation and entrepreneurship projects in Wuhu by selecting high-quality innovative and entrepreneurial projects with leading technology and huge market potential Landing to promote the development of Wuhu robot and intelligent manufacturing industry.

Since the start of the competition, a total of 327 outstanding projects from fifteen provinces, cities, and autonomous regions including Beijing, Shanghai, Anhui, Shandong, Hubei, and Liaoning have been received, including 650 inventions, utility models, and design patents in the field of robotics. The patents for the core technology of the project also include other patents around the core technology of the project. The participating projects focused on cutting-edge market technologies and promising innovative ideas in the intelligent manufacturing industry. Hundreds of contestants are ready to go. Through the review of each level, fourteen high-quality projects were finally presented at the final site. During the roadshow, the participating teams explained the project on-site by demonstrating the actual product, model, PPT or video, and replies to the experts’ on-site questions.

The roadshow proceeded wonderfully; finally, the full-cycle lower limb rehabilitation robot project of the Rehabilitation Robot Innovation Team of the Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences won the Grand Prize of this competition. At the same time, the competition produced four first prizes, nine second prizes, twenty third prizes and five excellent prizes.

In order to thank the units that have been supporting all the time, the competition awarded the Forth National Robot Patent Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Organization Award. The Awarded units were the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Anhui Robot Industry Development Alliance, Intelligent Voice Intellectual Property Industry Alliance, Shandong Key Industry Intellectual Property Alliance, and Dongguan Robot Intelligent Equipment Industry Alliance.

In the afternoon of the same day, the Intellectual Property and Intelligent Manufacturing Industry Development Summit Forum were also successfully held. The Standing Committee of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the Honorary Committee Member of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology, the Academician of the International Academy of Nuclear Energy Zhang Qin, the Deputy Director of the Anhui Provincial Market Supervision Administration, the Director of the Provincial Intellectual Property Office Cheng Yin, the Deputy Mayor of the Wuhu Municipal People's Government He Dong and other guests and representatives of various enterprises attended Forum.
