Recently, Zhejiang Provincial Intellectual Property Bureau released the patent right pledge financing statistics. From January to November of 2020, Zhejiang Province completed 1,149 patent right pledge registrations, with the pledge deposit amount reached 27.398 billion yuan, benefited 1,062 small and medium-sized enterprises.

It is reported that Zhejiang patent right pledge financing has covered eleven prefectures and 90 counties and districts, achieved full coverage of Zhejiang’s prefectures, cities and counties. Among them, there are five prefecture-level cities with a financing amount of more than three billion yuan, namely Hangzhou (6.2 billion yuan), Taizhou (5.1 billion yuan), Shaoxing (3.7 billion yuan), and Wenzhou (3.1 billion yuan), and Jinhua City (3.05 billion yuan). There are six counties and districts with a financing amount of more than one billion yuan, namely, Jiaojiang District of Taizhou City (2.214 billion yuan), Zhuji City (1.416 billion yuan), and Xihu District of Hangzhou City (1.296 billion yuan), Binjiang District of Hangzhou City (1.284 billion yuan), Yiwu City (1.194 billion yuan) and Jiashan County (1.095 billion yuan).

It is understood that since this year, Zhejiang Province's patent right pledge financing has played an important role in assisting small and medium-sized enterprises to innovate and start their businesses. Among all enterprises that carry out patent right pledge financing, manufacturing enterprises accounted for the highest proportion, reached 69.7%, mainly manufacturing automobiles, special equipment, electrical machinery and equipment, metals, computers, communications and other electronic equipment, general equipment, rubber and plastic products.
