It was known from Jiangxi Provincial Market Supervision Bureau that from January to November 2020, the total number of patent applications in Jiangxi reached 101,658, which was a year-on-year increase of 27.4%; 72,987 patents were granted, a year-on-year increase of 37.2%. Since 2020, the provincial party committee and the provincial government have attached great importance to intellectual property work and made in-depth deployment, and formulated a three-year action plan for improving the quality of invention patents. At present, the impact of implementing the program has become obvious.

According to reports, from January to November 2020, there were 18,573 invention patent applications in Jiangxi, a year-on-year increase of 65.2%; 3739 invention patents were granted, a year-on-year increase of 50.6%. As of December 25, 2020, the amount of patent pledge loans in the province was 2.39 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 95.4%. For the next step, Jiangxi market supervision department will continue to improve the development of the province’s intellectual property industry, and strive to achieve that the number of effective invention patents owned by 10,000 people in the province reach six pieces by 2022 and exceed ten pieces by the end of the 14th Five-Year Plan.
