The "Regulations" enumerate the right objects of intellectual property rights for the Hangzhou Asian Games. A detailed list of the main intellectual property rights objects related to the Hangzhou Asian Games such as trademarks, patents, works, trade secrets, special signs, etc. It includes the emblem, flag, anthem, mascot, torch, and the design of medals, souvenirs, clothing, and clearly protects trade secrets such as design plans for opening and closing ceremonies and rehearsal information.
The "Regulations" added regulations on infringements of intellectual property rights in Hangzhou Asian Games, and further extended the scope of protection, including the use of hidden marketing and unauthorized live broadcasts, rebroadcasts and other unfair competition behaviors are listed as infringements. The 19th Asian Games will be held in Hangzhou in September 2022. Hangzhou is the third city in China to obtain the right to host the Asian Games. Prior to this, the Hangzhou Asian Games Organizing Committee has applied for the protection of special logo registration and copyright registration for the Asian Games emblem, slogan, name, mascot and other intellectual property rights, and registered the domain name and similar domain names of the Asian Games official website.
