In 2020, Qinghai Market Supervision Departments investigated and handled 70 trademark infringement cases with a value of 543,000 yuan and fines of 879,000 yuan. Qinghai’s procuratorial bureau approved the arrest of five intellectual property rights infringement cases and 14 people, and prosecuted eight intellectual property rights infringement cases and 11 people, effectively protected the legitimate rights and interests of IPR holders; Qinghai’s court system accepted the first and second instance of 287 civil and criminal IP cases in total, and 198 cases were concluded, with a case closure rate of 68.9%.
