On January 22, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province took the lead in establishing an Intellectual Property Operation Association in China.

  The Association is supported and guided by the Suzhou Municipal Market Supervision Bureau (Suzhou Intellectual Property Office), initiated and established by Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. It will focus on building an intellectual property interactive exchange platform to promote the cultivation and transformation of high-value intellectual property rights.

  It is understood that the Association will focus on three aspects of work:

  First, focus on talent training, strengthen intellectual property creation, application, protection, management, service and cultivation of international talents, and promote the construction of intellectual property talent training bases.

  Second, focus on the construction of carrier, incubate and cultivate innovative patent operating institutions, provide services for the professionalization of intellectual property operations, and help innovation and entrepreneurship.

 Third, focus on social services, deepen the application of technologies such as artificial intelligence and big data in various intellectual property operations scenarios, and promote the standardization, precision, and intelligence of intellectual property operation services.

  At the same time, the Association will comprehensively promote the "Three Ones" project to build a one-stop operation service matrix, launch a series of one-minute patent short videos, and create a low-cost patent pool for start-up enterprises.

  At present, the Yangtze River Delta region's integrated development continuously increases the demand for the professionalization of intellectual property services. The way to solve the difficulties in intellectual property operation and realize the intellectual property innovation in the Yangtze River Delta has become a hot spot in the industry. To this end, the Association will commit to building a new type of intellectual property operation platform guided by the government, market-driven, and ecologically integrated, to provide precise services for intellectual property operations in the Yangtze River Delta region. At the same time, with value realization as the guide, it promotes industrial cooperation and the transformation of service results, and provides strong support for Suzhou's integration into the Yangtze River Delta integrated development strategy.
