Recently, the reporter learned from the Intellectual Property Bureau of Baoji that the Municipal Party Committee Office and the Municipal People's Government Office jointly issued the "Specific Measures for Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection in Baoji City" recently, clarifying 16 specific measures and starting a new journey of intellectual property protection in Baoji City.
Since last year, Baoji Municipal Party Committee and Baoji Municipal Government have conducted three thematic studies on measures to strengthen IPR protection in Baoji, and the Municipal Leading Group for IPR Coordination and the Municipal Market Supervision Administration have led the drafting of relevant documents. On the basis of full investigation and extensive solicitation of opinions from the provincial intellectual property office and relevant municipal departments, the draft was finalized and issued after six consultations.
The measures specify 16 items of work in five parts, and divide the responsibilities of administrative, judicial, law enforcement and supervision departments according to their functions. Among them, Baoji will strive to build an intellectual property protection center around the rapid protection needs of titanium and titanium alloy, petroleum equipment, automobile and spare parts, rail transit and other advantageous pillar industries. At the same time, the Measures not only increased the number of serious violations of intellectual property rights into trust-breaking punishment, but also set up a reward system for reporting violations of intellectual property rights, reporting information is verified to be true will be awarded 200 yuan to 1,000 yuan.
According to Gou Hongdong, director of the Municipal Intellectual Property Service Center, this is the first of its kind in the province, which will definitely encourage the majority of intellectual property owners in Baoji to show greater enthusiasm in serving innovation and creating and promoting high-quality development of Baoji's economy.
