China (Nantong) intellectual property protection center officially put into operation

On April 10th, China (Nantong) intellectual property protection center officially put into operation after being accepted by the China National Intellectual Property Administration.

China (Nantong) intellectual property protection center is one of the first batch of national intellectual property protection centers in Central and North Jiangsu approved by the CNIPA. Facing the two major industries of intelligent manufacturing equipment and modern textile, it carries out "one-stop" intellectual property public services, including rapid patent pre-examination, rapid right confirmation, rapid rights protection, collaborative protection and navigation operation. The center has been approved 135 IPC classification numbers (International Patent Classification) and 32 Locarno classification numbers (international design classification), ranking the first in China. Among them, 80% of the classification numbers are in line with the classification of strategic emerging industries, which can help enterprises achieve early and good results in the "bottleneck issue" technology field, and play a positive role in seizing the technological highland and market opportunities. The opening of the center's rapid pre-examination service will greatly reduce the patent authorization examination cycle. Among them, invention patents are shortened from 22 months to 3-6 months, utility model patents from 7-8 months to 1 month, and design patents from 1-3 months to 5-7 days.

According to report, after the official operation of the center, will effectively connect the review of authorization, administrative law enforcement, judicial protection, arbitration and mediation, industry self-discipline and other key links of intellectual property protection, and will carry out "24 hours quick infringement judgment", public inspection law offices, "expert service team into the enterprise" and other service measures. To provide enterprises with intellectual assistance of authoritative legal advice, foreign-related dispute response guidance, patent early warning analysis and other services, effectively reducing the cost input of enterprises involved in the case.
