On April 14, Guangzhou Tianhe District Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) and Guangzhou Arbitration Commission formally reached strategic cooperation. The "Intellectual Property Arbitration Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement" signed will improve intellectual property diversification from arbitration, administration, and mediation. It will enhance the dispute resolution mechanism, strengthen the protection of IP rights, further optimize the business environment, and promote the high-quality economic development of Tianhe District.

At the signing ceremony, Tianhe District Market Supervision Bureau (Intellectual Property Office) Director Xiao Zeshun said that in the next step, the two parties would carry out in-depth cooperation and exchanges, maintain information exchange, resource sharing, and policy consultation, and jointly establish the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission (Tianhe) Intellectual Property Arbitration Mediation Center formulates supporting work procedures and rights protection procedures guidelines to realize the combination of the administrative investigation, administrative mediation and arbitration, and form a scientific and efficient intellectual property protection working mechanism.

Shi Lei, deputy director of the Guangzhou Arbitration Commission, said that the establishment of a cooperative relationship between the two parties to further improve the diversified intellectual property dispute resolution mechanism would pave a new way for the creation of a multi-level IP protection work pattern, including collaborative arbitration, administration, and mediation.
