An education company in Wuxi used the word "ZTE" and its trademark and claimed that it is the only organization of ZTE Corporation in education and belongs to ZTE enterprise. As a result, ZTE cracked down on counterfeit and sued the defendant in court.

On April 22, Wuxi ZTE Education Management Company and ZTE Corporation in the second instance of a dispute over trademark infringement and unfair competition, were filed in Jiangsu High Court. The trial was held in public, and the verdict was pronounced in court, dismissed the appeal of ZTE Education Company and upheld the original verdict.

The first instance court, Wuxi Intermediate Court held that ZTE Education Company's use of words such as "ZTE ICT Academy", "ZTE ICT Experimental Training Base", "ZTE Education" and pictures containing the "ZTE" logo on its website violated ZTE Corporation's right to exclusive use of the registered trademark; ZTE Education's registration of "ZTE" as an enterprise name and use in its business activities is an act of unfair competition involving the unauthorized use of the enterprise name of others that has a certain influence.
