On April 22, at a press conference on the status of intellectual property protection in Beijing, Pan Xinsheng, deputy director and spokesperson of the Beijing Municipal Intellectual Property Office, introduced that related IPR will protection work is progressing in an orderly manner for the upcoming 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and Paralympics.

According to the relevant provisions of the Patent Law, the Trademark Law, the Copyright Law and the Regulations on the Protection of Olympic Symbols, the emblems, mascots, and volunteer logos related to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics and Paralympics have applied for patents, trademarks, copyrights and Olympic symbols protection. There is no institutions or individual may infringe the above IPR without the permission of the Beijing Winter Olympics Organizing Committee.
