In the past 40 years of reform and opening up, China’s intellectual property system has undergone a rapid development. A new round of reform and opening up will effectively contribute to the high-quality development of the Chinese economy. The intellectual property system will play a more and more important role.
In order to better exchange the experience of China's IP protection in the past 4 decades since the launching of reform and opening up, and to discuss issues related to IP protection under the new round of reform and opening up, we would like to invite representatives from government administrative departments, judicial institutions, various enterprises and agencies, as well as experts and scholars, to attend the forum and share their experience. Through our joint efforts, we will improve the current IP protection system in China.
The theme of the forum is “Reform and Opening up driven by IP protection.” There will be two sub-forums, one is on Internet innovation and intellectual property protection, the other is on judicial protection and mechanism innovation of IP.
Participants: leaders and representatives of relevant state ministries and committees, representatives of judges at all levels of the court system, representatives of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), representatives of international organizations and foreign government agencies, officials of relevant national embassies in China and representatives of intellectual property commissioners, representatives of well-known domestic and foreign companies, representatives of industry associations, experts scholars, and media reporters, etc. (around 500 participants in total).
