CNIPA releases first version of public services list

The China National Intellectual Property Administration (CNIPA) on January 6 released the the first version of the list of the public services the CNIPA is to provide to the general public and specific parties of interest as a government agency.

The CNIPA is a vice-ministerial-level agency operating under the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR), in charge of all matters related to intellectual property including patents, trademarks, copyrights, and geographical indications.

 

The list includes 49 services falling under 3 categories, which are the application of IPRs, the management of IPRs, and the information services on IPRs. The detailed information on how to access each service listed is made available as well.
