[1] IP Eagle Talent Series Selection
Intellectual property (IP) talent is essential for high-quality IP development and a strong national IP framework. While China’s IP talent pool has grown to 860,000, there remains a significant shortfall of nearly three million professionals, particularly high-level, multidisciplinary experts adept at serving high-tech industries and managing cross-border IP issues. This shortage impacts China’s innovation capacity and economic growth.
In response, the Guidelines for Building a Powerful Intellectual Property Nation(2021-2035) and the 14th Five-Year Plan call for fostering a dynamic IP talent environment and specialized training programs. In alignment with these goals, IP Eagle Talent Series Selection initiative—led by the Intelligent Industry Research Center of Zhongguancun Intellectual Property Strategy Institute, Beijing Sunshine Intellectual Property and Legal Development Foundation and China IP/Intellectual Property Observers—has now been launched to cultivate high-level, international IP professionals.
IP Eagle Talent Series Selection (2024) includes the following categories:
Outstanding In-house IP Managers (Enterprise)
Outstanding IP Management Teams (Enterprise)
Outstanding IP Service Teams
Outstanding International IP Service Teams
