At present, the National Intellectual Property Administration of China is taking the lead in formulating the outline of the strategy to strengthen China's intellectual property by 2035 and the 14th five-year Plan for intellectual property rights and the revision of the patent law and other legal systems is also accelerating. We welcome advice and suggestions from the Japanese industry through the channels of soliciting public opinions. During the COVID-19 epidemic this year, the two sides have actively communicated and coordinated, innovated ways and means of work, overcome the impact of the epidemic, and promoted the steady progress of various cooperation projects. It is hoped that with the joint efforts of both sides, bilateral cooperation in multiple fields will be deepened and more practical results will be achieved.

This year, despite the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak, the two bureau still exchanged views through video on many occasions. It is hoped that the two sides will further strengthen cooperation, expand cooperation areas, innovate cooperation models and share the experience to bring more benefits to the domestic industries of the two countries. The two sides also exchanged views on other topics of common concern.
