EUIPO Teams up with European SME Alliance

The European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Digital SME Alliance have recently signed a collaboration agreement. The goal is to develop and implement joint initiatives to support small and medium enterprises (SMEs). The collaboration will include a set of training programmes such as webinars and different training modules and the co-design of a guide for SMEs to stimulate IP knowledge.

The European DIGITAL SME Alliance is the largest network of small and medium-sized ICT enterprises in Europe, representing about 20,000 digital SMEs. 30 national and regional SME associations from EU member states and neighboring countries are working together to put digital SMEs at the center of the EU agenda.

These new joint initiatives are also a part of the ongoing implementation of the EUIPO’s Strategic Plan 2025 that promotes the support of SMEs on their business journey.
