Recently, Jiangsu Intellectual property rights and trademark strategy implementation Work Leading Group Office has released the Guidelines for Registration Application and Rights Protection of Intellectual Properties of Foreign-funded Enterprises in Jiangsu Province.

The Guidelines have been written in both Chinese and English in order to better promote the in-depth development of the intellectual property works of foreign-funded enterprises in Jiangsu Province in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China. They have made a thorough explanation regarding the progress of applying patent, trademark registration, and copyright registration. The right period, right license, transfer, and termination is also explained in the Guidelines. The approach of rights protection in copyright infringement, accused of copyright infringement, ownership dispute or reward involving intellectual property, and payment dispute are introduced in the Guidelines.
