TikTok and Sony Music Entertainment signed a new agreement on November 3. according to the agreement, TikTok received music copyright of thousands of artists including Beyonce and Travis Scott.

The agreement will deepen the cooperative relationship between TikTok and the second-largest record company Sony Music Entertainment. The two companies expressed that this transaction will guarantee TikTok users can continuously use Sony’s songs, including Columbia Record Company and RCA Record Company. Furthermore, the agreement also requires TikTok and Sony to cooperate in programs to promote their artists and find potential new singers.
